MEET MATTHEW & JOHN

 

 

Matthew Williams-Ellis

Matthew is a London-based travel, landscape and wildlife photographer who’s photos have been awarded in Travel Photographer of the Year on numerous occasions. He has recently completed a solo exhibition of African wildlife photography in London titled ‘Individuals’.

Matthew has taught over 1,000 people while leading photography workshops in the UK and international photography holidays to destinations such as Costa Rica and Madagascar.

Matthew’s images regularly appear in international publications such as National Geographic Traveler, Conde Nast and Lonely Planet. His collection of images covers over 50 countries, and a diverse range of subjects; from lions hunting in Kenya and portraits of remote tribes in Myanmar, to skiing adventures in Scotland and remote landscapes of the Atacama Desert.

“Nothing gives me more satisfaction that capturing unique, inimitable moments with dynamic and creative visuals. I will go to any length to get those once in a lifetime shots and make your project stand out, whether that means spending multiple days with the same animal in search of an intimate portrait, taking on -40 degree temperatures inside the arctic circle, capturing photos while simultaneously stand up paddle boarding on the Thames, or flying my drone through ‘that little gap over there’.”

John Alexander

John Alexander is a freelance editorial photographer and filmmaker based in the UK.

His photography work compiles an eclectic mix of imagery from different genres to cater for his commercial clients. His fine art abstract photography collection titled ‘Evolving Patina’ can be found in galleries and private collections around the world. The unpredictable nature of travel and John's varied interests enable him to create a diverse portfolio of atmospheric images.

John is also the co-founder of Photo Escapes Films, who have had their films viewed by millions. The highlight being ‘Hong Kong’s Plastic Story: Start Small. Start Now.”, which was featured in Hong Kong’s Times Square and Cathay Pacific In Flight Entertainment System.
